The Superintendence of Umbria Region for Architectural and Landscaping Goods – based in Perugia, declared void the order issued by Stroncone Municipality in June 2009, as well as any related deed, according to which, after Environmental Impact Evaluation, such a Municipality had authorised variant works for the construction of a wind energy plant made up of six turbines at Località Colle Ventatoio, Frazione of Vasciano. Such a wind energy plant was not included in TerniEnergia’s Business Plan since it was resolved to focus all the activities and resources in the photovoltaic sector. However, the Company shall appeal before T.A.R. Umbria against the self-protection orders issued by the Superintendence of Umbria Region for Architectural and Landscaping Goods – Perugia.
