Completed just in the first quarter 2011 18 photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 18,2 MWp
- Completed for the first time plants with total capacity 2.5 MWp intended to remain in full ownership of the company.
- 8,6 MWp performed for Joint Venture’s Power Generation Business
TerniEnergia, a company operating in the renewable energy field, listed on Star Segment of Borsa Italiana just in the first quarter of 2011 completed the building of 18 new industrial sized photovoltaic plants, for a total installed power of 18,2 MWp. Notably 2,5 MWp were performed in “full equity” and intended to remain in full ownership of the company, 8,6 MWp were performed for Joint Venture’s Power Generation Business, while the remaining 7,1 MWp were made on behalf of third parties.
New photovoltaic plants are located in: Piemonte,Umbria,Marche,Lazio,Molise and Puglia.
The total number of plants built by TerniEnergia from the beginning of its activity until March 31st, 2011 increased to 222 for a total aggregate capacity of 135,4 MWp , 2,5 MWp of which were intended to remain in full ownership of the Company and 57,9 MWp were performed for joint venture Power Generation business.
Recorded industrial results of the first quarter 2011 confirm the excellent performance and the significant business increase if compared to the same period of last year (in the first quarter of 2010, 10 photovoltaic plants were installed with a total capacity of 10.2 MWp, 6.5 MWp of which were performed for the joint venture companies).
The photovoltaic plant located in Latina with a capacity of 3 MWp ,performed for the company Energie, a joint Venture equally owned with EDF EN Italia, expected to be completed within March 31st, 2011 is in advanced construction phase and will be completed shortly. Highlighted a plant production increase performed for Power generation business, in line with the strategy announced at the presentation of the industrial plan 2011-2013.
