The British Government, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and the British Consulate General Milan have given to TerniEnergia SpA, a company active in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency and waste management, listed on the Star segment of Borsa Italian,.the Green Economy Award, as part of the seventh edition of the UK-ITALY Business Awards, a formal recognition of Italian excellence in industry, culture and sport. The companies and personalities awarded have chosen the UK as a key market for their future international business development. They will thus be bringing high quality investment to the British economy, renowned for its openness to business.
TerniEnergia’s Chairman & CEO, Stefano Neri, received the award from the hands of the British Minister of State for Business and Energy, Sir Michael Fallon who attended the event, held Thursday, January 23 at the headquarters of Italian Stock Exchange at Palazzo Mezzanotte, in Milan.
This is the motivation of the award: “TerniEnergia’s internationalisation programme has brought the company to open a new subsidiary in the UK. The new London office reflects the growing interest of TerniEnergia in the fast moving UK green sector and represents a key development in the company’s evolution from a system integrator and owner of power generation plants to asset manager.
