TerniEnergia, a company active in the renewable energy sector, energy efficiency and waste management, listed on Star segment of Borsa Italiana, pursuant to the Competitiveness Decree containing the so-called ” spalmaincentivi” package communicates what follows:
– The Company has conducted a deeply qualitative and quantitative analysis on economic and financial aspects of each individual PV plants, simulating the application of the deduction provided for in DL Competitiveness obtaining a picture of full sustainability of investments performed;
– Despite the introduction of measures aimed to reduce the incentives approved for the production of energy from renewable sources (photovoltaic), the PV plants already put into operation and owned by the Company in full ownership or in JV for the power generation confirm their profitability ;
– The company is in a position to give full continuity to its work, and despite a new regulatory framework particularly penalizing, TerniEnergia is confident of being able to maximize the contribution arising from the internationalization activities and diversification in the environmental and energy efficiency sector;
– The Company holds a considerable portfolio of orders ( about 150MW) able to give an excellent visibility even to the PV EPC activity;
the above mentioned development of the regulatory framework has led the company in a timely manner, to design an adjustment of its business model, through the enhancement of certain assets and the start-up of new industrial development lines (eg acquisition of 100% of Lucos Alternative Energies and the proposed acquisition of Free Energy).
TerniEnergia, having no elements which could justify the recent market situation , confirms its intention to consolidate its excellent reputation towards investors, using its presence on the Stock Exchange in order to be an investment platform for institutional investors.
