The Passiamo project realizes and validates an ICT platform and value-added services for the promotion and management of sustainable mobility of people and goods.

THE PROJECT

The PASSIAMO project is a strategy to overcome current ITS systems related to mobility, focusing mainly on the provision of information regarding parking areas, traffic, specific warnings in case of emergency, information on public transport. The platform intends to perform a timely and real-time monitoring of all the variables that make up this complex system and characterized by various subjects and operators present on the territory. The achievement of the objectives is thus achieved through two main services focused on the optimization of freight flows and public transport.

Specific objectives

The specific objectives of the project include:

• the design of the platform PASSIVE according to the principles of open software architectures and Privacy by Design, to obtain a modular and expandable software architecture able to support the development, deployment and delivery of value-added services for mobility sustainable;
• the design of innovative services including remote diagnostics and efficiency improvement of vehicle use, optimization of the use and operation of vehicle fleets (passengers and freight);
• the prototype development of the platform and the value-added services supported; the testing and validation of the technological solutions implemented and the validation in use cases and real situations;
