TerniEnergia, a company operating in the renewable energy sector, listed on MTA Market of Borsa Italiana, executed the purchase of 5 companies: Rinnova srl, Energia Basilicata srl, Energia Lucana srl, Energia Nuova srl, Verde Energia srl.

Such purchases aim at developing new industrial-sized photovoltaic plants in Molise and Basilicata regions, for a total power installed amounting to approximately 55 MWp, and that to date are at different stages of authorization proceedings.

The price that was agreed for such purchase transactions concerning 100% of each company’s share capital was Euro 6.7 million, that were wholly financed by cash, of which an amount of Euro 0.3 million was paid as down-payment. The remaining amount shall be paid once that each single plant obtains the permission to open the relevant working sites that is expected to take place within November 30, 2010.

The total number of plants built by TerniEnergia as at March, 31 2010 is 138 for a total aggregate capacity of 50,3 MWp, of which 26,5 MWp were performed for the joint venture companies.
