TerniEnergia, a company operating in the renewable energy sector, one of the main system integrators in Italy in the photovoltaic field, announces that on 29 October executed the acquisition of Capital Energy, a limited liability company, with registered office in Nardò (Lecce).
The acquisition is aimed at developing 6 new photovoltaic plants of industrial size, whose total power amounts to 6 MWp, that are in an advanced phase as far as authorizations are concerned.
By means of this acquisition, TerniEnergia enriches further its portfolio of plants to be constructed.
As of 30 September 2009, TerniEnergia counts 122 completed PV plants, having an aggregate capacity exceeding 35 MWp. During the first nine months of 2009, in addition, the company completed the construction of 24 photovoltaic plants of medium and big size for a total power of 21,9 MWp, and this way it reached in advance – i.e. at the third quarter of this year – the goal of 22 MWp set forth by the business plan for the whole year 2009.
