TerniEnergia is going to achieve in the third quarter the targets set in the industrial plan for the whole year 2010

18 new photovoltaic plants whose total capacity amounts to 19,5 MWp are at an advanced implementation stage in the third quarter of 2010

Two plants of national significance: 2.3 MWp on the roof of ThyssenKrupp premises and 2.8 MWp on car parking shelters on behalf of Nextenergy

TerniEnergia, a company operating in the renewable energy field, listed on MTA market of Borsa Italiana, announces that to date 18 industrial sized photovoltaic plants whose total capacity amounts to 19,5 MWp are at an advanced implementation stage in the following regions: Umbria, Marche, Piemonte, Puglia, Lazio and Veneto. The completion of such plants is envisaged by September 30th 2010. Five of the above mentioned eighteen plants are for the joint venture companies with EDF EN Italia, with a capacity of approximately 5.8 MWp, whilst the remaining 13 plants are for third parties clients, with a total capacity of 13,7 MWp. Notably it is worth noting the 2 plants of national significance, respectively completed on behalf of the company Energie, an equally owned joint venture between TerniEnergia and EDF EN Italia, as a roof cover of the Tubificio in Terni, a company controlled by ThyssenKrupp Acciai Speciali Terni (for a total power of 2,3 MWp) and on behalf of Nextenergy at Recetto (NO), on car parking shelters for a capacity of 2.8 MWp . In the first nine months of 2010 the total number of plants that are already completed or that are close to completion rises up to 44 for a total installed capacity equal to 43.7 MWp, 21,2 MWp of which are set for the power generation activity carried out by the joint venture companies. Industrial results recorded in the first quarter of 2010 confirm the excellent trend and the significant increase of the activity over the same period of the previous year (in third quarter of 2009, 9 photovoltaic plants were installed for a total capacity of 10.5 MWp, of which 6.8 MWp were for joint venture companies). TerniEnergia, therefore, in the third quarter will achieve the targets set forth in the industrial plan for the whole year 2010.
