Softeco participates as a partner in the “Innovative solutions for Intermodal Node Genoa Erzelli” (InGE) funded by the CEF – Connecting Europe Facility 2014-2020. The CEF is the instrument that promotes growth, employment and competitiveness through infrastructure investments aimed at European level, in the transport sector it aims to make mobility easier and sustainable.
The InGE project, coordinated by the Municipality of Genoa, aims to improve travel to and from the Erzellis by encouraging public mobility with appropriate MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service) solutions to support the new monorail currently being planned for the connection of the scientific and technological Park of Erzelli. In particular, Softeco is involved in the analysis of innovative ICT services for intermodal transport.
The identification of technological solutions and ICT services is aimed at placing the user at the center of transport services, offering customized mobility solutions based on individual needs, simplifying access and use and connecting different transport systems.
